Summary

The quirky fantasy adventures of an impossibly strong woman warrior, hoping to win the love of her crush–the Hero!

Warrior Woman doesn’t want much out of life, other than to get Hero to fall in love with her. But no matter how hard she tries to show off her feminine side, he only sees her as a fellow adventurer. Maybe that’s because she’s the strongest fighter alive—strong enough to slay a dragon with a single blow! Does Warrior Woman have what it takes to win Hero’s heart without accidentally killing him in the process?

Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

If Who Says Warriors Can’t Be Babes? was an anime, it would be one of those ones with 3-5 minute episodes that are only loosely connected in any sort of overall storyline. In this hilarious manga, Warrior Woman falls in love with Hero and gets stronger so she can become a member of his adventuring party and be close to him. Except – oops! She maybe got *too* strong, and it seems like Hero doesn’t even realize she’s a WOMAN.

Each chapter is basically a one shot of Warrior Woman trying something to make Hero fall for her. Think Wile E. Coyote in the Roadrunner cartoons, only instead of trying to kill him and failing she’s trying to make him fall in love with her (which sometimes kills him – good thing Priest can resurrect people!) This comic is completely hilarious and so much fun to read, I’ll definitely be checking out the next volume in the series.

A digital ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via Edelweiss+ for review. All opinions are unbiased and my own.
