Top Ten Tuesday is brought to you by the lovely Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out the Top Ten Tuesday post for a full list of prompts!
This week’s prompt is:
Books I Want to Read Again
I was actually planning on using December to do some rereads, but then I read A Universe of Wishes and was slain by the short story in it by V.E. Schwab and, er, may have ordered the entire Shades of Magic trilogy. Oops.
Also, I’m totally cheating and listing some entire series as “one” book – you can’t stop me, I do what I want, neener neener.

The Chrestomanci Chronicles by Dianna Wynne Jones
I’ve actually only read Charmed Life, The Lives of Christopher Chant, and Witch Week, so the others would be new! But yeah, I really want to reread those three. SO GOOD.

Young Wizards by Diane Duane
I think I only actually read the first three or four books in this series? So I guess just the first half of the series would be rereads, and the rest would be new!

Fortune’s Fool by Mercedes Lackey
Actually I’d like to reread the entire 500 Kingdoms series, but this one I remember especially fondly. I’ve been carrying it around with me to several readathon weekends meaning to reread it and just never actually pick it up. SOON… Maybe. LOL

Notatsu Junkie by Ryoko Fukuyama
I just really love stories about people who get super successful for revenge, I guess. Notatsu Junkie, Skip Beat… I think I own all five volumes of this, maybe I’ll pick it up this month!

Work For It by Talia Hibbert
Work For It is my go-to rec for when people ask for a romance that is going to make them ugly cry. It’s just so good, but it’s been so long since I read it last that I don’t really remember what it’s about… I just remember it making my chest hurt in the area on the right side of my chest where my heart would be if it wasn’t on the left, and a physical breaking, cracking, shattering sensation there. …Yes, that’s a good thing, stop looking at me like that. I clearly need to reread this soon.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik
I remember ADORING this book when I first read it, and I sort of wonder if it will hold up to a reread…

The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison
I loved this book, and of course now remember nothing about it. My spouse just recently read it and he also really liked it, so now I want to reread it so I can talk to him about it! And book 2 is coming out next year, supposedly, so if I reread the story will be fresh!

Firebird by Mercedes Lackey
Have a read this three times? Yes. Will I love it just as much when I eventually read it for a fourth? Also yes.

The Switch by Lynsay Sands
I love a good woman-disguised-as-a-man book, and I remember this one being pretty great. I keep meaning to reread it and it just sits there near my nightstand… taunting me…

Top Secret by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
Actually… I’m gonna go start this reread RIGHT NOW. *zooms off*
Whelp, there you have it! Have you read any of these books I want to reread? Are any of them on your TBR? Maybe we can do a buddy read! 😉 Let me know in the comments, or link me to your post!

I put series as a single book too. Otherwise it would take too much space.
Hmmm… I do want to read Uprooted. I don’t know when though. And I inherited my grandma’s Mercedes Lackey books, but I haven’t read them yet. I know I read some as a kid and liked them though.

*comes bursting into the room* Which Mercedes Lackey books though?! Because she has about 4 completely different writing styles, lol.

I find that when I remember absolutely nothing about a book it wasnt as good as I thought it was. But there are several series openers that I’d love to go back and reread just so I can continue the series!

I loved the Young Wizards series – one of these days I should reread and complete the series since I never finished it originally. 🙂

The Chrestomanci Chronicles looks brilliant! How have I never heard of this series before. Adding it to my TBR pile now. Thanks for putting it on my radar!
