Summary

Haruma Ichinose, 17, has been popular since he was born. So popular, in fact, that he figured no one could even come close…until he met Yuki Mogami. She’s tall, cool, collected, and totally makes him crazy. He may just be in love…but can he deal with falling for someone even more dashing than himself?

Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This is a SUCH a cute slice-of-life rom-com manga! It’s a fun gender-swapped play on your typical shojo manga, where Haruma (who is normally a very cool and desirable guy) finds himself playing the unwitting heroine to Yuki’s tall and dashing prince-type character – she’s not trying to be, it’s just how she IS (plus she’s got a good four inches on him!) Their chemistry is so great and the overall tone of the manga both pokes fun at ALL the shojo manga tropes while also paying homage to them and delivering them in fun and playful new ways. The chapter about the muffins was just too hilarious, it had me cracking up! I can’t wait to read more about this crazy pair in the next volume.

A digital ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for review. All opinions are unbiased and my own.
