Summary

Hades and Persephone’s love-struck misadventures.

The classic tale of Greek mythology, but 100% more awkwardly relatable. Hades is the officious, antisocial ruler of the Underworld; Persephone, daughter of Demeter, is an earth goddess of growth and renewal – they’ve been crushing on each other for the past two centuries. But when a festival (and a little liquid courage) present an opportunity to put an end to their olympian will-they-won’t-they, a meddlesome pantheon and several titanic misassumptions threaten to give every god in the sky the wrong impression… and leave their romance dead before it can bloom.

Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

AHHHHHH they’re both so cute!! I need the next volume RIGHT NOW PLEASE.

I adore Hades and Persephone retellings. They’re basically the original beauty and the beast. The OG the sunshine and the grumpy one.

The art in this comic is so gorgeous and expressive. I may be a tiny bit (read: head over heels) in love with Hades. And, er, also Persephone. Oh no. My poor heart.

The relationship between Hades and Zeus was hilarious, and I can’t wait to see more interactions between the gods in this series! And of course I am so excited to watch the relationship between Hades and Persephone blossom (pun intended).

A digital ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via Edelweiss+ for review. All opinions are unbiased and my own.
