Like the other books I’ve read in the Model Love universe, there’s something just so cozy about this book, despite the heavy content. I don’t love age gap romances, but GOSH I sure was rooting for Jack to finally get Kit to get his head out of his butt and really look at him!!

Jack’s been hooked on Kit since Kit rescued him from the streets and a suicide attempt at age (17, I think? 18? There are a few places where their age gap seems to be different, not sure if that’s an editing error or user error on my end, ha.) Now five years later he’s all grown up, and Kit has been noticing him as the man he is and not the boy he saved, but obviously there are some moral grey areas about him getting together with someone younger that he helped out as a teen. The mutual pining is EPIC, and my heart hurt for them both so much at times.

There are also lots of very funny moments in this book (looking at you, Nana!) that made it lighthearted and a very warm and lovely romance.

This is a standalone book in the multi-author Model Love universe. All the books can be read as standalones.
