Summary
Can he break his curse before time runs out?
Despite being cursed to sleep as a gargoyle for a hundred years, and awake for only twenty-five, Rian O’Reilly is an optimist. He knows he can find a way to break the curse through the tattooed runes he’s spent years mastering. No need to wait for this true love crap. But he hasn’t found the right combination of magic and his time is almost up. Rian isn’t ready to lose everyone and everything. Again.
Professor Logan Davis knows about loss. In the past year, he’s lost his mother, his twin, his werewolf pack, and he’s on the verge of losing his mind. So when he’s invited to Arrington to learn about a legend he’s never heard of, he jumps at the chance for a working vacation. He doesn’t expect to find a handsome gargoyle who needs his help to break a centuries-old curse—and he certainly doesn’t expect his grief to finally overwhelm him.
As Rian comforts Logan, he starts to wonder if there might be something to this true love crap after all. He’d give anything to help this gentle giant of a man, but Logan needs time to heal…and time is the one thing Rian doesn’t have.
STONE SKIN is a male/male paranormal romance featuring a magical tattoo artist gargoyle who doesn’t want to go, a werewolf professor who needs time to rediscover himself beneath his grief, and a budding love that might be the answer to everything…if only it has time to bloom.

Review
This series is just SO. GOOD. *dreamy sigh* I’m not even sure what to write for this review, just… this book is so good, Rian and Logan are so great, I loved every second of this book and was sad when it was over.
The slowly blooming chemistry between Logan and Rian gave me tingles. I felt so deeply for Logan, the big cuddly bear of a werewolf shifter. (Also, can I get some of those puppy cuddles too, please?!) I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but at the DRAMA LLAMA MOMENT I absolutely ugly cried. When he said he’ll be cold – UGH, my heart. (Read it and then you’ll know!)
I also loved seeing Drew and Josh living out their happily ever after. Josh remains one of my absolute faves, and I love the way he and the brothers just sort of adopt Logan, and then some more shifters (which I WANT TO say more about, but also no spoilers so I CAN’T). They’re building their little family and I want Teague to get his happily ever after too SO BADLY. I CANNOT WAIT for the third book, Stone Heart, which is Teague’s story! I can’t wait to see who his love interest is… I was SO SURE that I knew, but at the end of book two I’m not so sure now. How exciting! I’m not even sure which of the two possible people I think it might be that I’d prefer for it to be! And I’m already prepared to have my heart shattered like so much stone. 😉
This is the second book in the Gargoyles of Arrington series, and can be read as a standalone. That being said, *absolutely* read the first book (Stone Wings).
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are unbiased and my own.
