Readathons
Trope-ical Readathon
I had SO MUCH fun with this readathon, but it also really kicked my ass! It sure lit a fire under me to read hard to complete some of the challenges, and this was the first time I’ve ever really tracked my daily pages read count. In some ways I really liked it, but in others I hated it because I felt like I was really shackled to this pre-determined TBR and I kept finding books I wanted to read and going “guess I’ll read this in April…” I kept really diligent track of my daily pages read until April 22nd, and then I hit sort of a reading slump and just kind chucked it.
Still! I completed 9 Common Challenges (50 pts each), 1 Team Challenge (100 pts), and read 4,845 pages (!!) for a total of 5,895 points. I started the team book (Rosewater) and am working my way through it, but not really loving it.
Breezy Hollow Readathon
This was a fun one! And I did it on the “easy” mode, so I only had to do the 5 prompts. π
I started out reading Witches Steeped in Gold for this readathon, but DNF’d it two chapters in. I did manage to complete Malice by Heather
I want to read Back in the Burbs, Malice, and All Systems Red. Looks like you had a pretty great reading month!
